lyrics

elegy of self-deceit
i once was buried in anxious slumber, eternally bound to yesterdays. waking up from these shrouded dreams, i found myself
lost in forlorn hope. inside i repose in grief. inside i'm too blind to see that i've become my greatest deceiver, so close to
the void. just a shape in this masquerade, a drifter without his shoes. all i know, so obsolete and false, there is nothing here
worth living for. the days of grace, long may the reign, long forgotten and abysmal. wake me up before i self-destruct, there is
no more room in hell. wake me up before i self-destruct, i may live but just to die. i walk the shades of a dying race, fragments
of a life i (once) sought. i still adhere on that fading beauty, a childish wish for escape.
